It's my fault that we have to wait for school hols as I work in school, otherwise we would take the time off.
What we object to with travel companies is that they can charge silly prices for a child.  Our daughter will be 13 while we are on holiday and the difference in the price for a 12 year old and 13 year old is £500!!!
However, we have found a way round this by booking the hotel and flight separately (but with the same company) and we have saved £500!!!

I really feel sorry for the teachers and parents of school age children who have to take there holidays in (peak time) school holidays when prices are sky high Shocked its just not Fair Angry the only other option is to take your child out of school in term time Roll Eyes and low and behold if you do you get threatened with fine's Shocked

As a gesture of good will why don't the travel company's and airlines bring down the prices at peak times and let families with children enjoy there holiday without the added cost's Roll Eyes they would still fill the airlines up and then us Twirleys could travel in peace off peak 3 or 4 times a year so they'd still make a profit Wink Cheesy
