Thats us booked for Mavrikos in August.  We have been to Tsivi twice a few years ago, stayed in Zante Star and Lazaros, would have gone back to Lazaros but flights are so expensive, got a better deal on a package hol.
Hope its just as good as before.

Stayed there in 2007 and loved the place, again only trouble was it was too far away from my local drinking haunts and stumbling back a between 6 and 7 am was a bloody nightmare,
I would stay there again if it were closer to planos end, hope you have a good time, i am sure you will Cool

Stayed at the mavrikos June 09.
We stayed in self cater rooms very basic but great view over the town from balcony.Went out for breakfast plenty of places open.
Pool was very loud with kids screaming but end of the day they are on holiday.
Steep hill if you have trouble walking seen many ppl struggle up that hill.would not use 2 ring cooker i think they found it on the beach in 1970.but don't let that put you off.I'm shure you will love it .we loved tsilvi so much we have booked for next June. All in All a nice basic hotel..

Stav we are staying 2 mins down the hill from the Mavrikos (Cosmopolitan) but it won't stop us 4 reprobates (OAP's) stumbling back at 6 or 7am from the Two Brother's and Friends bar after being with you and Ruth because we can sing "show me the way to go home" and all the old songs on the way home and then we can stagger into the Paradise bar and have one for the road Wink Grin its all part of the holiday fun and gives the locals something to talk about   Roll Eyes  Wink

My son and his G/F are coming out to us on the second week of our hols(their first time in Tsilivi) and they are staying at the Mavrikos, they only paid £80 for the week to stay there! Ive read the reviews and they sound ok, basic but clean from what ive read! At £80 im gonna have a look at em myself for sure, our room costs us 490 euros for 2 weeks this year! If they are any good thats a potential saving of 300 + euros, more drinking money for me lol!! £35 a room per night used to be a good deal when the euro was good but not now its a pound for a euro of near enough!!

Hello Choco we are staying at the Mavrikos in early August to not heard anything bad about the place so it sounds like a good choice.
